1. Application Agreement
By submitting an application to FSMK Mentorship, applicants agree to:
- Provide truthful and accurate information in their application
- Comply with the Code of Conduct outlined below
- Accept the decisions of the selection committee
- Commit to the full mentorship duration if selected
2. Program Participation
Selected participants in the FSMK Mentorship mentorship program must:
- Attend all scheduled mentorship sessions
- Complete assignments and deliverables on time
- Respect intellectual property rights of mentors and fellow participants
- Maintain confidentiality of program materials and discussions
- Follow all program guidelines and instructions from mentors
3. Code of Conduct
Our Values
FSMK Mentorship fosters a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all participants, regardless of background, identity, or experience level.
Expected Behavior
Participants are expected to maintain professional standards by:
- Using inclusive and welcoming language
- Respecting diverse viewpoints and experiences
- Supporting and encouraging fellow participants
- Accepting constructive feedback gracefully
- Prioritizing learning and skill development
Attendance Policy
- A maximum of 4 absences is allowed during the program
- Early notification is required for any planned absence
- Exceeding the absence limit will trigger automatic removal from the program, except in cases of documented emergencies
- Attendance for all sessions is monitored
Academic Integrity
All submitted work must be original or properly cited. Plagiarism or misrepresentation of work will result in immediate removal from the program. Collaborative teamwork is encouraged where permitted, but each individual must submit their own contributions.
Unacceptable Behavior
The following behaviours are strictly prohibited:
- Harassment, bullying, or intimidation in any form
- Discrimination based on race, gender, religion, or any other characteristic
- Offensive, derogatory, or inappropriate remarks
- Disruptive behaviour during sessions or in communication channels
- Sharing confidential program information without authorization
- Any form of academic dishonesty or integrity violations
4. Intellectual Property
Contributors to FSMK Mentorship retain attribution rights while making their work freely available for educational purposes within the program.
External content referenced in courses may have separate licensing policies that participants must respect. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of program materials is prohibited.
5. Enforcement
Violations of these terms will trigger graduated responses:
- Minor issues: A warning and discussion with the participant
- Moderate concerns: Temporary suspension from sessions or activities
- Serious breaches: Immediate disqualification from the program
6. Termination
FSMK Mentorship reserves the right to terminate participation for Code of Conduct violations, failure to meet program requirements, or other justified reasons. Voluntary withdrawal from the program requires proper notice to the program coordinators.
